For this purpose, we have designed a procedure consisting of a continuous reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) step coupled with a nonradioactive detection on microtiter plates of amplified sequences, which we called enzyme-linked oligosorbent assay (ELOSA).
